A New Book, and a Charm

It's been a while since I've posted anything, so I thought I would add a brief little update. I got a new book this week; "The Museum of Witchcraft: A Magical History." This is a collection of histories, personal anecdotes, and tales about The Museum of Witchcraft in Boscastle, Cornwall.. It's also beautifully illustrated with images of the museum exhibits and features commentary by such luminaries as Patricia Crowther, Gemma Gary and Michael Howard. Definitely not to be missed! I got the paperback edition, and even that was on the costly side (shipping overseas adds on a lot) but it was worth every penny.

I also purchased a new "flying charm" made by a crafter in Wales. It's made from Black Poplar and features an owl charm, Moonstones, and a genuine owl feather on a hand-braided cord. I don't usually show my magical tools anymore, but as this was something ready-made as is not a personal ritual item I don't mind putting up a picture of it. I'm simply mad about owls, so this was the perfect thing for me.

Next weekend I travel to Houston for what should be a life-changing event, so I'm looking forward to that. In other news, I am moving into a new place at the first of May. While I hate moving, and my health issues make it difficult, I think I will be much happier in my new home.

I hope everyone is well!
